Community Guidelines – Owl Pod Stories

Owl Pod Stories is meant for trusted, intentional storytelling. These guidelines explain the kind of behavior and content we expect from members.

Be respectful

Treat other people with respect, especially in stories, chats, comments, invites, and profile content.
Do not harass, threaten, bully, shame, stalk, or intimidate anyone.
Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are.

Share only content you have the right to share

Only upload stories, media, music, images, and text that you created or have permission to use.
Respect copyright, privacy, publicity, and confidentiality rights.
Do not share someone else's private information without permission.

Keep the service safe

Do not post illegal, exploitative, fraudulent, or deceptive content.
Do not use Owl Pod Stories to spam, phish, scam, manipulate purchases, or abuse gifting flows.
Do not attempt to probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass the security or reliability of the service.

Sensitive and harmful content

Do not post content involving child sexual abuse or exploitation. We will remove it and report it where required.
Do not post graphic violence, credible threats, encouragement of self-harm, or content intended to terrorize or exploit others.
Do not use hate speech or target people based on protected characteristics.

Protect minors and other people's privacy

Do not share stories or personal data about children without appropriate authority and care.
Do not dox, reveal private contact details, or expose another person's location, address, or financial information.
Ask before sharing stories that include another person's likeness, voice, or personal history.

Consequences

We may remove content, disable gifting or sharing features, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate access for violations.
We may preserve evidence and cooperate with law enforcement or safety reporting obligations where required.

Reporting and blocking

You can act on anything that breaks these guidelines from inside the app.

Report a story or a conversation using the report control on that screen. Reports go to our support team.
Block a member from their profile, your connections list, or a chat. Blocking stops them contacting you or sending you new connection invitations. The person you block is not told.
You can review and undo your blocks at any time in Settings.

We aim to review reports of harmful or abusive content within 24 hours and to act on them promptly. While a report is being assessed we may hide the reported story from other members. To review a reported conversation, a member of our support team may read the messages between the two people involved; how that access is controlled and logged is described in our Privacy Policy.
